The problem here is that BJS also represents a way out for Canelo to avoid GGG. If GGG beat BJS, canelo has no where to run at 160, and will have to eventually face GGG to become a champion again.

Considering how long he's been trying to unify the division and how good his fight with Canelo would be, I think he should take either one of those fighters, if available, before rematching Danny. If neither guy is serious, then yeah, rematch sounds good.

The only people who are heavily pushing the rematch before those 2 fights are people who always want to screw Golovkin over. They don't want him to succeed and always claim he should do the exact opposite of what logic says. They're the idiots who said he needs to drain to 154 for everyone, go up to 175, take whatever money is offered, etc.

Danny deserves a rematch, but it's not worth putting his dreams of unification aside or a scattering the possibility of a fight with Canelo.

I dont want to see that fight again right now. I would like to see it though down the line. GGG was the champ and jacobs was the challenger. Challenger didnt win its back to the drawing board for now. He should fight someone this summer to stay active, fight canelo in september then rematch jacobs early next year.

GGG don't need to rematch as it wasn't controversial. I would be interested to see rematch on basis first fight was exciting and on that basis the fight was quite good spectacle.
