I made a forum post a few months ago about whether it was Oscar's plan to delay the Canelo fight until September because he knew Mayweather would come back and rematch Pacquiao in September, forcing the Canelo fight to next year AGAIN. Everyone said I was crazy...

Well, this is Mcgregor not Pacquiao, but same idea. HBO and Oscar better not let this affect Canelo-GGG. Let Mayweather-Mcgregor use some Irish holiday, why would they use the Mexican holiday for an American vs Irishman anyway?

I'd be happy for both events to happen but I hope people in boxing can work together for the fans and find a way to do all these big events without interfering with other big events that have been planned for years now. Mayweather and Mcgregor deserve their big fight, especially if Mayweather fights a top boxer afterwards to make up for it, and so do Canelo and GGG.

Heck I just had the best idea ever. Mayweather-Mcgregor in September at 154, GGG-Canelo in September at 160, then WINNERS FIGHT at 155 for ALL FOUR MIDDLEWEIGHT BELTS! Make it happen!!!!

Mayweather does have a solid chin, it just hasnt been tested much and when it was, it pissed Mayweather off enough to stand and trade.

But I do give Conor a very small chance, and within a very small window before the foot work and the accumulation of punches takes its toll. I predict a 8th rd tko.

At least McGregor comes to fight. Kill or be killed. May/Pac, which was supposed to be the pinnacle of boxing, bored the spectators.

If McGregor somehow manages to win, let alone knock out Floyd Mayweather, he will become the GOAT of combat sports and and effectively kill boxing. I can't wait.

Knocking out Eddie Alvarez with 4oz gloves is a lot different than knocking out Floyd with 8oz gloves. McGregor doesn't even have good stamina which is why he paces himself now in fights.

Just call it an exhibition match, because at some point McGregor is going to snap and try to wrestle Floyd. This is going to be a pure circus and i'd probably bet that it turns into a riot of sorts when one or the other throws an elbow in the mix.

Why on earth would you want to kill boxing? Even if he does KO Mayweather, all it will prove is that Mayweather is 40 f***ing years old. Granted I give essentially no shot of that happening.

How many fights does it take to show that Mayweather makes fights boring. The easier he wins, the more boring the fight. McGregor will make it entertaining, if laughable, for 4 rounds, then he gasses out. You don't just wake up with the arterial blood flow to the chest and arms necessary to box. He's arms will be down to his knees by round 8.
