Gonzales clearly won the fight. Rungvisai had tremendous work-rate but he actually that effective in terms of shots landed. Many where just hitting Gonzales' gloves, arms or being slipped outright. Gonzales was landing the cleaner, more hurtful punches consistently.

since when is Compubox accurate? anyway Gonzalez punches had little to no effect. Rungvisai kept swinging nonstop. he kept applying pressure. that probably stood out to the judges. and I think Cuadras beat him too. he got at least 3-4 guys he needs to rematch.. pound for pound #1 he's not.

The fight was close but there were so many rounds where Chocolatito only fought well in 30 seconds, particularly the last 30 seconds of the round. That's not going to help.

Roman Gonzalez is a great fighter, but he should have just stayed in his own division. There's only a handful of Truly Great Boxers who are able to move up in multiple divisions and dominate in the same fashion as the previous.

I need not to depend on compubox - as I presented many gifs I made in slowmotion demonstrating Gonzalez to have the superior technique, defense and clean punches but stats only substantiates what I and many others already know.

Believe it or not the 'Time' is not factored in the scoring criteria : you can launch yourself and attack throughout the whole round but if the clean work comes from the patient technician that lands the clean head snapping punches that trumps any relentless yet futile attempt at scoring from the aggressor. Having said that, upon review of the rounds in slow motion there was barely any halt in the action by both men.

That's what I thought too until he started talking shet about Cuadras and Estrada last week. He said in an interview last week, " I've beaten every Mexican they ever put in front of me."
Now if he had said " i've beaten every fighter they ever put in front of me" then that's okay. But I think it's wrong when you involve a fighters race and/or nationality. So ever since then, **** chicolatito! He got his ass handed to him! And I hope that Thai fighter don't give him a rematch. And if he does then he should play hardball with chocolatito the same way he was doing it to Estrada and Cuadras when they wanted a rematch.

I agree with this to a certain extent but not completely, I think Choco should of left the 'Mexican' comment out of his statements BUT you have to put things in perspective on what happened that week leading up to what he said: Estrada and Cuadras disrespected him even live before a press conference and Mexican national TV : note that Japan has taken its fair share of L's to Gonzalez but they don't behave like a lot of Mexicans on social media on the contrary the have been very welcoming to Gonzalez and taken the L with dignity.

Roman needs to pay much more attention to protection ... He will not cut anyone in this weight, even with such a primitive rival on the ass sat and all the blood in the battle was over.

Do you know why he was not given the victory? In June, Floyd's 50th battle. And no one can interfere with him
