Calling Canelo a 'ginger *****' is nothing but childish prejudice. Saunders himself has been a pathetic title holder. He won his title on a majority decision over a boxer who'd been beaten up by Chavez jr. He struggled in his one defence against a boxer not in the world's top 30. A year before winning his title he struggled to a split decision over a novice Eubank jr, who surely would beat him if they fought again. Saunders has just been hanging around waiting for a big payday. Golovkin, Jacobs, Canelo and several others would beat Saunders with ease.

Don't entirely agree with GGG signing the contract though. He's worth more than they're offering and their fight will do respectable numbers in-part because of GGG. At the same time if I were GGG and I was 100% certain in beating canelo than take the flat fee offer, beat his ass and then you dictate terms the next go round.

Side note: Its a legit 50/50 fight even after what we saw in the jacobs fight.
