The cleanest bombs Jacobs landed the whole fight and GGG took them. Some say if Jacobs did what Kell did and land clean it might be over for GGG. He did the same to Jacobs as the rest of the opponents that hit him clean, just nod and go forward.

I think its gonna take someone who can repeatedly land on GGG and somehow not get hurt themselves to beat him. I think him going to 168 being the smaller man would be the true test cause i don't anyone at 160 beating him, maybe if Canelo takes the fight we could see.
I just don't see anyone putting GGG down. He just has an iron jaw. Like James Toney, and Marvin Hagler.

Golovkin walks through whatever Canelo throws at him and stops him in the mid to late rounds.
And like 75% of people had Golovkin stopping Jacobs inside of like 4 rounds. We all saw how that went. A flash KD with Jacobs landing the biggest punches and arguably winning the fight. Lil g is a good fighter, but some people on here make him a demi-god...he's not.

Canelo is an interesting matchup because he's shown an excellent beard himself and he has always had enough power to keep people honest. He can also box pretty damn well and his hands are very fast.

Golovkin beats his first real MW challenge and all of a sudden Danny Jacobs is #2 PFP fighter in the world...even though he's been KTFO and KD by feather-fister Sergio Mora...Mora is basically a bigger version of Malignaggi for fuc.ks sake.

Jacobs is a good fighter, a B- or B level fighter, and that's all that he was. Danny Geale got KTFO bad by GGG and even worse by JMW Miguel Cotto...GGG has a few good wins, but he's not the monster people make him out to be.

Andre Ward dismantles and hurts GGG. Too bad Golovkin was more bark than bite in that matchup :/

There are some guys that can just take what ever anyone can throw at them. Some guys are just durable like that.

Like Marvin Hagler. There is just nothing you can hit the man with that will bother him.

Thats what GGG reminds me of. You hit him with a bomb, he doesnt even stop what he is doing.

There have always been guys like that in divisions.

Some said Jacobs would go to sleep in 3. I guess there were a lot of bad predictions made about the fight.

that's particularly impressive because he didn't see the right hook coming and his chin was in the air....and we're talking about two massive shots back to back, not like he had time to recuperate.

                    Two things.

                    1) That's the punch that Broke Brook's eye bone. End of the first round.
                    2) You gotta make up your mind. A small welterweight could do more damage than big MW Jacobs? then maybe he wasn't a small welterweight kisses.

The thing is, can Canelo make unconfortable GGG like Jacobs did?

                      How Jacobs did it?
By controlling spaces using a solid reach advantage and fast feet.

                      Can Canelo do it?

I dunno, GGG will fight a similar fight he did versus Lemieux but will controle the distance versus a smaller man in Nelo.

Nelo is even shorter than Lemieux by half an inch.
