Put your differences with Haymon aside and make Canelo vs Jacobs then. I'd watch but...that ain't happening. What Canelo will do and won't do is absolutely irrelevant, until he actually does it. Much like folks made predictions about a chinny Jacobs, much like they made so many predictions about Jacobs beating the hypejob Golovkin, on any given night..anything can happen.

My personal opinion of the fight when it happens is Canelo by unanimous decision 8-4 or late ko or tko.

          Lol. Funny guy.

I understand why Golovkin doing what he's doing and in fact I support him trying to earn and secure a better life for his family. Just because I understand it and it support it doesn't mean I have to buy into the narrative that he's using to squeeze money out the fight.

With Golovkin losing his aura of invincibility against Jacobs, Golovkin v Canelo has become more interesting.

I can see arguments for either guy winning, that's why its interesting.

As for showing respect, if Canelo thinks that means he can walk through Golovkins shots, then good luck to him. Golovkin knew he couldn't walk through Jacobs's shots, and knows he can't walk through Canelo's either, ie he's going to respect the power of other other guy and box accordingly.

GBP's statement of 'not going give respect like Jacobs' is just meaningless clickbait. Of course he will come fight night - he would be ****** not to.

If you want to look at what might decide the outcome, watch Canelo's inability to cut off the ring vs Lara, Mayweather and Cotto. He walks down, but its too easy to slip away from him. Canelo stands and places his combos quickly and accurately, but he's too easy to slip away from. I would give Canelo the edge in speed, but Golovkin the edge in foot movement and power. Which wins ? For me the foot movement negates the speed and Canelo misses too many, and if they trade, Canelo comes off worse.

                GGG vs Cancelo tough pick......

GGG in Jacobs fight showed me that's he's a really good boxer as well. GGG has better foot speed than Canelo however Canelo has better upper body movement and faster hands. GGG has a better jab and Canelo better defense. I give Canelo the edge but can see GGG winning. The reason I give Canelo the edge and could see him even knocking out GGG is that GGG can't fight on the inside but GGG may not have too because he has a really good jab that may keep Canelo at bay and even end up knocking out Canelo. Can't wait to see what happens!!!

you keep on telling yourself that

Canelo will present a pile of different challenges for GGG

if a small length advantage gave Golovkin problems, Canelo will give him fits

not that Canelo has any advantage in that area..... just that if Golovkin struggled because of that reason, and could not adapt to such a basic disadvantage - especially considering his olympic pedigree and killer offense..... then Canelo's skill-level/abilities are going to be a nightmare for Golovkin

I definitely favor Canelo over Golovkin head-to-head

Canelo will present some challenges for GGG. I was just saying he wont present the challenges Jacobs did. Jacobs is tall, big and is pretty swift on his feet thats what gave GGG trouble. Canelo's feet are made of cement he will be in front of GGG all night long and wont be able to escape especially with how well GGG cuts the ring off and jabs. That will be the downfall in that fight for canelo.
