In his last 5 fights he has struggled with 4 of those, the only time he didn't struggle being the throwaway stay busy fight he had.

What is his top form? if he has something we haven't seen that's great but if his top form is what we've seen then good luck beating Golovkin.

Yes please. Saunders already beat a fighter very similar to Jacobs in Chris Eubank Jr. Completely neutralized one of the fastest and most powerful guys at middleweight. Saunders also has an ELITE right hook that he can throw with absolutely no wind up, from many angles. It comes out quick as a jab but it's a hook with power that knocked Andy Lee down, and did it also knock Eubank Jr. down? I don't remember.

And Saunders is a southpaw, which is not a problem for GGG but slightly more difficult to him, kind of like Floyd still did well vs southpaws but his shoulder roll style was clearly tailored more towards facing orthodox opponents.

Plus, this fight is needed badly to unify the belts and #FREEGGG! Once he gets the fourth belt, then if he wants to stay at middleweight, he will finally be able to get all the best opponents fans want, because there will be nowhere else for them to go. Not that I think that's really necessary anymore, since as we're seeing with Jacobs and Saunders, the paydays are big enough now, and GGG's skills had declined enough now, that these guys want their shot now anyway. But it will certainly help.

Moreover, if GGG wants to move to 168 full time, he needs to get the last belt out of the way asap anyway. The Canelo fight is already on the docket for September we hope, which means that either GGG fights Saunders in June, or it can't happen until December at the earliest. Not ideal at all.

Just get it out of the way. Is it ideal that it would come off the Akavov performance so GGG would get no credit? Not ideal at all, but what can you do. Everyone should know that regardless of that performance, Saunders is sure to come in shape against GGG in the biggest test of his career, just like he was in shape vs Lee and Eubank. That's the Saunders that would come into the ring vs GGG, and that is a very good fighter GGG should get credit for beating, if he's able to do it.

Please come through Tom Loeffler and Oscar! Saunders in June, Canelo in September! Then Floyd at 155, or move to 168, or Jacobs rematch (must be at 160 though that size advantage would be even crazier at 168), Charlo, or IF he can beat someone like Lemieux first, Eubank Jr. in January 2018. Make it so Loeffler!

This title literally made me laugh out loud. You're right, he's not in your class. He's 10 levels above you.

Jacobs is world class. Bjs is domestic class. He gets destroyed by ggg or Jacobs.

Billy Joe Saunders is the 2nd coming of Muhammad Ali, and will wipe the floor with GGG.

He BJS must be a millonaire judging by how he fights once a year.
