Time to official end this Golovkin "title defense record" thing

Quite a few GG fans and of course HBO, are shilling hard and fooling the public that golovkin is on his way to the mw title defense record held by bernard.

He defended the WBA WORLD title for 10 fights vs guys like Gabe Rosado, Nilson Julio Tapia, Makoto Fuchigami, Lajuan Simon.

Meanwhile Sturm had the WBA Super World title. Which GG got when he fought Geale. He has 7 title defenses of the Super, not 18.

this is the same "belt" that jacobs just had, the WBA world title is not a real belt.

Yep how could he be the WBA world champion when there already was a WBA World Champion? Golovkin had the secondary belt. He wasn't the champion.

Geale vacated his WBA Super after winning it from Sturm in order to face Mundine instead of Golovkin in late 2012, so GGG was the sole WBA champion from then on

Who gives a sh-t. Title defenses haven't meant as much since we've had more than 1 belt.

Why do you clowns have to try to put down fighters you don't like? Did he win a world title? Has he been putting on a line? Shut the *** up.

However you feel about the legitimacy of the belts or some of the opponents, Golovkin has been a champ and the guy at 160 for a long time and anyone who is anyone has had a chance to fight him. If they didn't take that chance, that's on them.
