Let's not jump to conclusions. Manny has faced tough guys that WERE great in their primes, though clearly they are on their way out. Manny will be in the middle when they finall do leave. He won't be old yet though not young anymore in a division where 30 should be retirement. Once Manny defends some titles against young opposition or ones that have proven power, then he could be hailed as a legend of great or whatever. I'm sorta against saying he's too good since when was the last time he faced someone with TRUE KO power? Morales obviously didn't carry his punch up and Barrera was more of a beat you down. Heck, you got guys like Rocky and Barrios who could end the fight with 1 punch or even Frietas if he drops down in weight. If Manny can beat one of those, then I'd take more thought into calling him great/legend/amazing, or whatever.

nicely put... manny should look at barrios/juarez/freitas and stop feasting on MAB/EM/JMM... He would get much more money definitely fighting those 3 but legacy-wise, it won't do him good any longer...

i dont think pacs D is as good as rockys so i actually see MAB going the distance with pac. in round 7 of the rocky fight MAB had rocky hurt in the 7th but ref stopped it. i still see pac winnning but it will be better than most people think

yes barrera should stay away from the pacquiaos, chavez', barrios' of the world. that type of active fighter with a good punch and stamina will give him all kinds of trouble.

I don't see Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Barrios, or Juarez standing up to Pacquiao. I think they all get stopped by the man. The only guy that fluctuates below 135 I see giving Pacquiao a fight is Freitas, but honestly, Pacquiao would probably stop him too.

the hbo crew had me laughing saying that barerra shouldn't fight juarez again and that barerra should focus on the rematch with pacquiao. thats a joke. do they think fighting pac is going to be easier, hell ****ing no!
what are they thinking, i think barerra will only be good for a couple of rounds then pac is going to mow him like grass with an extra size mower. more pressure and an even better plan of attack to get the KO quicker this time.
barerra has hit the twilight of his career, he doesn't have a whole lot in his tank, although he is and was a great champ and one of my favorites. it's that his time has come to unlace the gloves and hang them up before he gets wrecked inside the ring.
going after Pac isnt the smartest career move, fighting wise, money wise it's a cash cow of a fight........
