This is extremely irritating to read, so I can't imagine how bad this is for GGG detractors

It was bad enough when mayweather fans did it with Pacman.

GGG was not 'exposed' at all.

Give Jacobs some credit, he fought a great fight and deserves respect for taking GGG the distance and making it a close, competitive fight.

I think GGG was respecting Jacobs power, Jacobs also has a difficult style and GGG found it hard to adapt but still won the fight.

Jacobs did well but just didn't win enough rounds. This is top level boxing though and it shows GGG won't just be able to steamroll everybody.

            Fair result though.

I caught a foreign stream (good qaulity tho) so I didn't have the benefit (or lack of) a second opinion telling me what's happening inside the ring and honestly after 4 rounds I just thought, 'the haters were right, Jacobs really doesn't belong.' Soon after I was convinced Jacobs was not even trying to win, he came for the glory of going 12 rounds. Seeing how much bigger he was than Golovkin just made it all the more disappointing. So when I logged into nsb post-fight, I can't convey to you how shocked I was with any post of "robbery" You couldn't make this **** up....imagine seeing Pac-Bradley and then you log into nsb and there's people saying Bradley should've won by a wider margin...the ****??? (oddly enough, I've consistently scored that fight closer than most)

Judges might have differing scorecards in a true tight fight, but this was unanimous. Anything else is just sour g****s.

You're just emulating your favorite fighter' s fan base at this point. I suppose GGG fans and 's are pretty much identical.

                Was it throwing less ?

Maybe it was being knocked down or rocked on several occasions ...

Exactly. GGG landed over 100 jabs .more than Doubled number 37

Landed 50 percent . Was the aggressor with effective aggression

                Visibly hurt number 37

Number 37 was saved by the bell,
                He was also dropped .

To move and box and fight off the back foot ,get dropped and lose in the percentage landed battle.

Let's not sink to the level of Mayweather trolls. I know it's hard not to but I would rather not be compared with one of the worst group of fanboys in the history of the sport.

                    Out jabbed

Jacobs played it safe and didnt risk enough to try and win , he was content on trying to steal rounds and not one judge took the bait.

GGG beat number 37 , stop being salty .
Very cautious fight for both men, I believe that was the reason there was no KO, the knockdown was a real difference maker.

I actually watched the fight live muted because I thought it was bias to listen to commentators and it seemed like GGG won.

Speaking from a judge's format, the ring generalship and pressure was all GGG and I think GGG's chin was really holding up.

I think the round split was 5-7 in favor of triple G.

Edit: don't call him "37" that kind of disrespect should be left for Canelo.

The fight was close and Golovkin was not impressive. The only plus side for him was that we now know for sure he has good punch resistance. Jacobs is a hard puncher and had a clear size advantage yet Golovkin took his punches well. Some said Golovkin looked hurt by a body shot in the closing ten seconds but that's no indication of having a shaky chin.
