Will Zab Judah finally reach his potential?

As far as natural talent goes Zab Judah is one of the most gifted fighters. His self destructive attitude in the past has kept him from reaching greatness. Now that he is welterweight champion will he finally reach his potential for greatness or will his self destructive behavior continue to fail him?

I dont know because it is 50/50. As far as his potential in talent, then yes but there are alot of great fighters at 40 and 47 so he could reach his potential and still lose

He has a weak chin and we know from previous fights ( and his assault on Jay Nady ) he has no heart. He is not a true champion, he assualted a refferee for Christs sake. The guy is like Tyson in these respects. Big punching bully who is exposed when somehow stands up to him. The only fun in watching Judah is watching him lose.

Everyone knows Judah has great boxing skills, but what worries me is he mentally right in big fights, the big factor in the spinks fight was the knockdown in the 12th round of the first fight.
He knew he could hurt spinks and boxed like a man that was going to knock spinks out in the second fight, where in the first fight he held back a bit until late on in the fight.

If the knockdown hadn't happend in the first fight would it have been a different result in the second fight. A less confident Judah, would he have held back a bit like at the start of the first fight.

He has a loooooooooong way to go, but I guess that's what he gets for being the most talented fighter in the sport right now. Judah has a lot to live up to, and it all begins now.

I like Zab but I'm not really sure how long he's going to last at the welterweight division. There's lots of talent at welterweight and it's going to take a lot of discipline to hang on to those belts.
