Can you imagine if Jacobs had dropped GGG and wobbled him without getting hurt and threw/landed more on compubox but didn't get the decision? You would see another Black Lives Matter demo within hours lol!

Can you imagine if the roles were reversed and Golovkin was the cancer survivor and Jacobs was the one with a 23 KO streak? HBO would have produced a movie to show with fight replay next week and Trump would be dropping the Golovkin name at his future rallies.

It was a very good and close fight. I think Golovkin won by a point or two but some rounds were difficult to score. A rematch wouldn't be a bad thing. GGG still a heck of a fighter but not the scary monster they built him up to be. Once the fear factor has gone, as with Tyson back then, they look more human and beatable.

I like the way he fought..... had a real nice style, and most likely a great upside..... such a shame that we didn't get to see his career develop..... but it is what it is, not MORE than it is
