    What next for GGG?

GGG is now, in the same position Wlad was back when he had beaten David Haye, which is to say, both have effectively cleared out their division of all top contenders and pretenders. Now, the difference is Wlad had nowhere else to go and the heavyweight division eventually threw up Povetkin, Pulev and Fury.

For GGG, there are no new rising names at 160. Eubank Jr literally ran from the division, Saunders is growing fat on a parking lot somewhere and well...he has beaten Lem already. So what else is there? Personally, if he truly wants to greatness, I think he needs to step up in weight and beat the top dogs at super middle, because let's be honest, Canelo will never fight him.

The most obvious answer besides moving up is a rematch with Danny Jacobs, since many people thought he lost.

Who are these many people apart from posters and their alts on this site?

Canelo doesnt want it. BJS doesnt want it.

The Jacobs rematch is nonsensical imo.

Agree, he needs to move up. I'm just looking at the rankings and there's a couple of east euros so GGG could fight them somewhere in Europe and extend his world wide reach. Then theres Lee who I'm confused as to how he's still ranked so high lol

        Slim pickings.

BJ's, canelo and eubank. Despite eubank hate, I believe he is a better boxer than saunders. A rematch if BJ's and eubank will end with jr winning

Jr is at super middle though. By the time they do managet o negotiate BJS v Jr 2 itll be the end of 2017.

We're talking about GGGs next step.

I certainly hope its Canelo but I doubt it. It definitely wont be BJS. I think I saw him eating donuts in a caravan on the m25.

Saunders and Canelo didn't want to fight him, but I bet last night changed their mind and both happen this year. Then the Jacobs rematch, by which point Lara, Andrade and Charlo should be well established middleweights.

Canelo, BJS, Charlo, Eubank would be good wins

So you don't think this fight could have gone the other way?

Not a surprise. I didn't forget whom I'm writing to.

I watched the Sky Sports broadcast. The unofficial judge had Jacobs up by 2 going into the last round.

As for the HBO broadcast team, I believe Max said the fight came down to who won the last round. Clearly those here and elsewhere who believe Jacobs won are not being unreasonable in their opinions.
