I'm never brainwashed by any commentary. I see what I see, on my own. 20 something or not, the 2-3 wars leading up to this fight last night had a negative impact on him. And no, I don't think Gonzalez is P4P great either. Good solid fighter, not elite.
aside from the running in the 12th round, i thought the thai fighter did good job and edge out a close win. it could have gone either way since it was such a close fight.
At this point and with that showing it doesn't matter who Rungvisai faces. He is now an A-side fighter, not just for beating Choco, but his performance in general was excellent and unexpected.
Cuadras is mandatory for a rematch and I'd be fine with that. But if I were Rungvisai, I would focus on cleaning out the division and beating the others. Continue building a name. The guy was ranked #3 before facing Choco. He's a hell of a fighter, period.
A-side fighter ? His performance was excellent and unexpected ? If u follow the weight you'd of known it was gonna be a tough fight . Rungvisai gave Cuadras all he could handle in their fight . But I did think Chocolatito eeked this one out .
Titles don't always equal A-side . Specially to a lil known Thai boxer with a hard a$$ name to pronounce .
I thought Gonzales lost a close fight, but I didn't actually think they'd award the win to the Thai guy.
Gonzalez needs to strictly box him from the outside (if its even possible against the thai) if he wants any chance of success. He can't let the next fight become a phone booth war and block punches with his face. The thai guy hits much harder and did way more damage.
Having said that, the damage that Choco took will definitely taken something out of him. He'll never be the same after that fight. Hindsight is 20/20, but it looks like he moved up 1 weight too far. His punches have virtually no effect @ 115.

González doesn't know box, he is a one dimensional fighter with bad defense
