Competitive fight but the punch stats CLEARLY favor GGG plus he was the champ heading into the fight AND he scored a KD. The right man won in this fight.

If Jacobs' name was Floyd, he would have won running away. Pun intended. However, the judges scored the fight the way all fights should be scored, including FLOYD's fights! Tapping but refusing to engage should lose you the round! GGG was given all those rounds where Jacobs was playing Floyd. So fact is, Jacobs gave the fight away. GGG was there to be had. Next time, show more intent that you're the man!

How the **** is the poll this close? Jacobs had a hell of a fight but best case scenario gives him 6 rounds, which isn't enough.

Why is this Poll private? I literally came in 1 vote between them and then 5 minutes later 10 more votes for Golovkin? sad that you need alts to make you feel better about your hero getting beaten up by Danny Jacobs.

I had GGG winning the 12th round which on my card won him the fight. It was really close. Both guys implemented their game plans well. Jacobs I felt let the 12th round go. 115-112 is a little overboard but if you had it a Draw I wouldn't be mad at that either. By no means was this a robbery though. The majority of people who think that are those who saw GGG in his most competitive fight and looked for every which way to give Jacobs the fight. Both guys made very good accounts for themselves and I also feel both got award punches that were missed / blocked after a 2nd watch this morning. Solid fight. Danny's stock rose enormously but I don't think GGG's fell contrary to some opinions. I still believe GGG beats Canelo based on the style match up. I do feel though Jermall Charlo might be a difficult task for GGG who'll be no younger than 36 by the time they'd end up fighting. GGG can fight punchers until he's 38-39 but boxers with a jab and consistent punch output will give him more trouble in these next couple years.

I'm watching it again, up to round 3. Golovkin is doing better in HD 60fps.

no we cant all agree that, he outlanded him in 9 rounds and put him on his arse. did i watch a different fight to everyone else?! people are so used to him just walking through opponents thatthey are overstating what jacobs did in that fight.

i just rewatched it. i have no idea how people can say golovkin didnt deserve it. i must have blinked when jacobs landed all his clean solid shots. was on his bicycle for most the fight, was frustrating ggg but wasnt countering. thats not how you win a fight
