Un-Abel Sanchez is an overrated trainer

Trying to mold GGG into Chavez Sr and make him fight that pressure style was dumb.

GGG was a great boxer with Olympic skills coming out the amateurs, yet Sanchez had him abandon these skills and instead fight Mexican Chavez Sr style. This eventually caught up to him.

GGG should have been developing his Olympic skills all these years.

IMO GGG should drop Unable Sanchez.

No, mostly it was because of Jacobs size and power kept Golovkin at bay. SIZE + Power + Durability + Speed + Skill = Hesitation is justified why Golovkin was gunshy against Jacobs, what I am to criticize Golovkin for is that he left his jab abandoned late in the rounds and did not worked the body.

Well he moved to America because he couldn't get big fights in Europe, it only made sense for him to hire an American trainer. I doubt any his previous trainers from Europe were going to move to America just to support Golovkin.

But yeah after 7 years I get the feeling Sanchez still hasn't grasped how Golovkin should be effectively fighting and make him fight to his potential, and a lot of it has to do with Golovkin being a complete boxer before he trained with Sanchez.
