    Madison Square Garden, New York City - In the toughest fight of his career, and a fight that saw his knockout streak end at 23, Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Daniel Jacobs (32-2, 29 KOs) to retain the WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO middleweight titles. The scores were 115-112, 115-112, 114-113.
