My man...i'm hoping folks continue to see this because I can see why it might seem the other way.
Originally posted by Garcia's Dad View PostIt's absolutely nuts. In the arena, people were commending Danny for fighting with a lot of heart but no-one thought he won. People were walking out before the result was read because everyone agreed Golovkin won
Just because Golovkin looked flat doesn't mean he didn't win the rounds. He controlled rounds with his jab, he had the better defence, he finished better, he hurt Danny plenty of times.
It really shows how swayed people are by commentary - and their own expectations of how the fight SHOULD go.

pure ****ery. robbery aint the word.
HBO couldn't have two golden boys lose on the same night.
again that was NOT close. Jacobs boxed his ears off.
GGG edged the close rounds with his jab,
The thing is GGG won 4 rounds of the 6 first rounds and scored a KD, then Jacobs almost had to win all the remaining round, he won most of them.
He lost the fight by losing the 12th.
I agree with Harold card (as usual, I think he's more often right than judges).

Regardless of the scorecard, Jacobs was the better man in there tonight.
