Your the biggest idiot of the decade. Golovkin landed 60 more punches at a 6 percent higher rate plus a knockdown. Some of you so called boxing fans say some of the most uneducated sh@t I've ever heard. It's comical how many idiots there are on this site.

My man...i'm hoping folks continue to see this because I can see why it might seem the other way.

It's absolutely nuts. In the arena, people were commending Danny for fighting with a lot of heart but no-one thought he won. People were walking out before the result was read because everyone agreed Golovkin won

Just because Golovkin looked flat doesn't mean he didn't win the rounds. He controlled rounds with his jab, he had the better defence, he finished better, he hurt Danny plenty of times.

It really shows how swayed people are by commentary - and their own expectations of how the fight SHOULD go.

I walked home (don't live far from the garden) and talking to most folk they credited Jacobs (deserving said praise) but felt he didn't win. It was a good atmosphere up in that motherfka tonight. Happy to see the hometown brother's stock rise tonight.

Guys you know its the same people who were calling Jacobs a cherry pick based all on emotions. They don't get what just happened in this fight, it was a fantastic fight from two tremendous warriors and in their efforts to express their dislike of one boxer they just don't get they are shhhtting all over the other guy.

What was so fantastic about it? It wasn't overly-technical. And it wasn't a slug fest. The fight was boring.

No doubt. Agree 100%. I wouldn't say GGG had the better defense, as Jacobs movement played a huge part in him not being flattened and KO'd basically, but he was more cautious then against Brook, obviously.

i predicted GGG by KO so dont come at me ******. Jacobs won 9-3 or at best 8-4. that fight was NOT close. do body punches even count anymore? are body blows counted? Jacobs did ALL the work downstairs, he brutalized GGG with body work. if you count and respect that there is no argument for GGG winning.

The thing is GGG won 4 rounds of the 6 first rounds and scored a KD, then Jacobs almost had to win all the remaining round, he won most of them.

He lost the fight by losing the 12th.

When you think about it, those first 3 rounds were pretty much study rounds. Could have gone either way so that's a 3 point swing.

Regardless of the scorecard, Jacobs was the better man in there tonight.

Agreed ggg was made to look very ordinary but for a big punch. Danny showed him their is more to boxing than a big punch.
