They just can't help themselves. This hate is irrational and asking them to explain it is naive. If they will be honest, they'll answer "because f**k you, that's why" )))
The closest one is the guy who said they don't want Russians to dominate. Even though GGG isn't one, he is somehow related through his father. This is enough for them to hate. Don't try to convince that to watch with their eyes open. This is a futile exercise...

Hating him because he's overrated/hyped and being sick to death of ******s calling him ATG is a lot more rational than hating him because he has a Russian father.

Can't you see why race baiting for Golovkin and him being criticized because "he's white" doesn't work?
I wasn't race baiting. I don't care about the color of his skin. I like GGG's exciting style.

He's highly rated with nothing to show for.

I don't dislike him though, i'm just a critic. If he gives me fights to like him for I will. I hated Martinez, rooted against him in the Pavlik fight, but when he knocked Williams out cold, I had respect for him. I couldn't hate on the guy anymore, he proved his high ranking.

It started with the Proksa win, GGG fans started saying started saying he's better than Robinson, Hagler, Monzon, Hopkins. His trainer said anyone from 154-168, but then Ward came calling and nothing happened, just excuses.

Basically he's ranked highly but hasn't had a high ranking win and doesn't take any chances. For example Brook moving up to 160 to fight him is taking chances. Or Hopkins moving up to 175 to fight the champion is taking chances.

Some racists, most due to factions. Floyd boys hate golovkin for example.

That's why Jacobs needs to win this fight. Hopefully, these 3G endless hate threads will diminish, albeit slowly.

Did you not see all that **** he talked about Jacobs?

“He is a very good fighter and maybe has a little bit more power than me,” the ever-smiling Golovkin said, going on to explain the science of his own considerable menace in the punch.

“I feel I have power [Golovkin has won 33 of 36 bouts inside schedule, 26 of them by halfway] and it is very important to me and I can feel the power in my punches. I get that from hard work and practice. Sometimes though it is not just power. It has a lot to do with timing and distance. It is not all in the punch.

“This is my first fight of the year. He is a tough guy and a great fighter and I am very excited for this fight and this year. He is one of the most dangerous [opponents] for me. He is a good boxer with good technique. I respect him too, he is a very good man.”
How could you not hate him?

He is the most hated fighter in the history of this forum since I joined in 2008. He gets more hated with each new KO win. The hatred for him on here will continue to grow as long as he continues to win.Mayweather and Ward hate him too. Even though the son of God shouldn't hate. Maybe many Ward and Mayweather fans hate GGG because Ward and Mayweather hate him. Ask War Mikey or Robocop. They are professional GGG haters among many other GGG haters. If GGG wins tonight this will be a sad place for his haters. If he losses they will be overjoyed.

Is it that he is clean cut, handsome and has no tatoos?
Does it bother some people that a White man is the face of boxing?
Is it because he doesn't engage in trash talk?
Or are people just going to say it's his resume?

What is there not to like? We are very lucky to be in this era to witness a supreme boxer like GGG.
For a guy who folks have tried to deify as one of the truly great fighters in the sport (now or in history), his fight resume is quite lacking.

Deontay Wilder is exciting to watch, but nobody is talking about how he'd knock off Ali, Joe Louis, Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Larry Holmes, etc.
