Comments Thread For: Daniel Jacobs Aims To Defy The Odds One More Time

DANIEL JACOBS has defied the odds outside of the ring and tonight he looks to do it inside the ropes. The American takes on Gennady Golovkin for the Kazakh KO star's WBA, IBF, IBO and WBC middleweight titles. The New Yorker has home advantage at Madison Square Garden and superior knockout power with 29 of his 32 wins ending inside the distance.

No matter what the fight result, Jacobs is a winner in life and I'm glad he ignored the doctors advice, as he proved them wrong, he got back successfully into pro boxing.

I'm rooting for Jacobs but it's really hard to imagine how he will pull it off. The one thing I give him is his confidence. Most boxers talk tough and exude confidence leading up to a fight. I've never seen another boxer so certain of victory as Jacobs.
