The IBF weigh-in morning of the fight is still in effect. Jacobs had to do a morning weigh-in the day of for his rematch with Mora and had no issues.
but the fight time won't change, right?

In some ways the early weigh-in is good, gives you a full 24 hours to hydrate slowly as one normally would but then again that pacing takes discipline, the secondary weigh-in is where things get murky, because then you have another 12-14 hours before fight time at which point you can actually drink and eat your way to a bad performance. Looking forward to the fight i'll be in attendance.

No. Saturday is far less busy than Friday. Too many events going on Friday they just needed to bump the Golovkin/Jacobs weigh-in early. The later they start the fight card tomorrow the better b/c of the basketball stuff.

HBO or MSG requested them for an early weigh in because there is a fight scheduled in MSG today evening (Conlan is making his debut..)

Danny looks way healthier for this weigh-in than he did vs Quillin. He looked drained vs Quillin, where here he's looking pretty healthy. He was also pretty amped up for the Quillin weigh-in.
