So, if the judge turned his card in with an addition error, who does the card get handed over to that would check the totals and make sure everything is correct? Is it someone from the athletic commission?Comment

Man, boxing has such a bad rep with judging ... someone makes an error filling out a card, and it's istantly conspiracy and foul play. Boxing needs to clean up it's act, and get a good reputation.Originally posted by $Manny_P$exactly. They're trying to be sneaky.Comment

thats what i thought tooOriginally posted by Left2bodyI was gonna say the exact same thing. It lends more credence to the other judge changing his mind. He can say that see I wasn't the only one uncertain on how to score the 12th.Comment

Well added to all that other stuff you can see HBO commentators setting this up. They were nuthugging Barrera the entire fight and coming into the 12th were saying that Juarez needed a knockout to win.Originally posted by Red_MenaceIt looks su****ious, but people are capable of changing their minds. Plus, on one of the cards where the score was changed, they still had Juarez winning. The judge may have scored the round 10-9 for Juarez, changed his mind, and then forgotten to change the corresponding total for Barrera. I don't think there's any way to prove it was a fix.
I had the fight for Juarez but it was close and uderstand if someone saw Barrera winning it close....BUT I dont understand how they think Barrera was Blowing out Juarez. In hind sight I think they were prepping the public for Barrera to be winning almost irregardless of what happended in the ring.Comment

Do you have any idea of what you're talking about?
The middle score was the only one that needed to change to tip the score in Barrera's favor.
Why would they change all 3 when they only needed to change one?
You should get a clue before you start in with racist ignorant drivel.Comment

Hey guys, do you also remember how long it took the judges to come back with the cards? Even Lampley said something about it. That seems mighty strange. Like they got together and made a change. Also remember what Juarez was saying after the fight about it being L.A. and Oscar's home town. Basically he was saying that he thought the judges had it in for himLast edited by DLT; 05-21-2006, 01:50 AM.Comment

I gotta watch this fight again to check on that.Originally posted by DLTHey guys, do you also remember how long it took the judges to come back with the cards? Even Lampley said something about it. That seems mighty strange. Like they got together and made a change
This is really su****ious. The fact alone that I can see a 9 underneath that 10 in the middle card in Round 12 convinces me that they screwed Rocky.
I mean cmon. You know what a loss/draw does to Barrera's carreer at this stage? One, no match against Pac (well, he might be happy about that)and probably a high demand of rematch against Juarez (a fight he can certainly lose).Comment
