Comments Thread For: Golovkin, Jacobs Trainers Think Their Fight Could Go 12 Rounds

NEW YORK The prevailing feeling is that the Gennady Golovkin-Daniel Jacobs fight will end in a knockout. Kazakhstan's Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) and Brooklyn's Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs) have combined to knock out 90 percent of their professional opponents. Golovkin takes a 23-fight knockout streak into their middleweight title fight Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.

This fight shouldn't go past 8 or 9 unless they both start boxing like the 2nd half of the Thurman/Garcia fight.

I think its a big victory in itself if Jacobs makes it to the distance. Someone has to break that rediculous KO streak eventually I hope it's him.
