Why Didn't Golovkin Get DQ'd Against Lemieux???

He hit the guy while he was down, this is coming from a Golovkin fan, he should have been DQ'd or at least 2 points taken away

If Lemieux had been unable to continue it probably should have been a DQ, as it was, possibly a point deduction would have been appropriate, although it didn't look deliberate, more like he just got carried away.

I kept rewatching it, Lemieux clearly took a knee at least 1 or 2 seconds before Golovkin hit him

        To be honest

Lemieux just has one of those faces

I would punch him while he was down too

Clearly a heat of the moment move. Not worthy of point deduction or a disqualification, especially the latter; That's just people wanting GGG to take a L no matter what.

Much like abraham vs direll...that threw me off the whole super six. Didnt help direll in the long run either as hes gone nowhere.

Exactly. Cannot believe how some would want to discredit this guy. Clearly unintentional on Golovkin's part and not even worth mentioning.

How does that change that I support Golovkin?? Who's the one refusing the 15M?? I like both, I'm more of a Canelo fan but I like Golovkin a lot as well

Sadiq, you reckon you've had a heap of amateur fights. I call bull****!!!

My coach told me several times to 'protect yourself at all times' just like the last thing the ref tells you to do.

In about my 4th or 5th fight, i put my hands down after the bell sounded for end of the 2nd round, and the action seemed to stop - and copped a huge right hand.
(First and only time i've seen stars)

He didn't get any points taken away, even though i pleaded.
                    WHY?
                    PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES.
This includes after the bell, on your knee, after the towel's been thrown in etc etc.

I realized after that what my coach was trying to impress upon me. He had good foresight and experience.

This is boxing. This is serious business.
