Boxing is missing Mayweather and Pacqiuao

I was one the ones who couldnt wait till these two retired, but youd be lying if you said boxing doesnt miss these two right now. Usually Pacquiao would have a fight coming

Uhmmm Manny is still fighting its just that he has no excitement around him after Floyd beat him and add to that Manny is not fighting the very top guys I hope he don't fight Horn for fck sake.

Those were huge huge stars it takes time to transition away. Plus the transition is hampered by the fact Floyd never passed the torch and Manny still hasn't either. It is rolling along alright now though, it just takes time to really build guys from scratch.

Me too, I was a fan of PBF, but not Money.

Nah. There are a bunch of other fighters to keep an eye on.

I think boxing's best eras are when there wasn't a supremely dominant champ in a division. Though WW is taking a while to heal, we're seeing more interesting fights come about vs the ol predictable "Floyd via decision".

Hard to compare the two eras though when guys like Cotto Margarito and Mosley were the second tier welters behind Floyd and Manny. Far more loaded division back then.

Boxing is just as good for me now.Spence GGG, Kovalev, Canelo, Santa Cruz, Loma, Thurman and some other new comers with potential are all favorites of mine. Pacquiao is still kicking ass twice a year which is as often as he ever fought in years. Mayweather was great but not always exciting to watch. It takes a lot more than two fights a year a piece from Pacquiao and Mayweather to keep me happy boxing wise. Their time is gone. Lots of excellent fighters are here now to keep boxing exciting for me anyway.

I wish Floyd a healthy retirement and hope he stays retired. Mayweather talked a lot of trash and then would fight his cautious, defensive style and win by decision in his hometown.
Floyd created way more excitement outside the ring than he ever did inside it.
