To be honest it's not the fight we are salivating for but the coverage ahaha which I would love to see

Maybe Mcgregor touches one of Mayweathers veins.

Plus I honestly believe the boxing world is understimating Mcgregor's ability as a fighter. The fact he is a southpaw and will bring a solid unorthodox style to the ring could make things very interesting against Floyd who is used decoding traditional boxers with predictable combinations.

How much in bets worldwide will this fight generate? Who do you think is laughing the most?

That's the kind of fight you announce on April 1

          200 million aint no joke.

Arum just greedy and jealous he's never seeing a dime of that....HOW IS IT NOT OBVIOUS? These are prize fighters, half their job is finding the highest bidder. IT"S WHY THEY FIGHT.

I think COnnor and FLoyd are the smartest guys in the room. HEY CONNOR? WANNA GET RICH?

From a fans point of view, it is a joke. But from a fighters point of view, it's money in the bank. Easy money for Mayweather who is expected earn 100 million for this fight and go 50-0

Conor shows UFC fighters how to make real money, and Floyd gets his usual crazy purse. This isn't a fight for hard core boxing fans. It's for the general public which is a much larger audience.

And for those whining about that "record", Floyd isn't champion so there's no record to obtain here. Just enjoy it for what it will be; a huge spectacle for combat sports. I'm just hoping for a random leg sweep or kick from conor lol
I agree with you partially. For you to say it doesn't count for floyds record is false. Floyd is looking for possibly the easiest lowest risk highest reward fight ever, which he should. But, to shove it in the face of boxing purist to say he beat Marcianos record.

This is what I'm looking for bud. I believe in what diaz said that mcgregor has 3 rounds in him to do something to Floyd, and that he also has an amateur boxing style. Coming from a guy that has sparred championship boxers.

This is why I'm personally going for mcgregor to KO Floyd within those 5 rounds. This is a slap to all boxing fans, I wouldve taken Floyd even fighting a top 20 rank contender to break Marcianos record. I don't blame Conor he is only getting a quarter of what he is owed by the UFC.

MANILA, Philippines – Top Rank chief Bob Arum said he is open to a fight between Manny Pacquiao and UFC star Conor McGregor.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Arum believes Pacquiao won’t have a problem dealing with McGregor as long as they fight in a boxing match.

"That's an easy fight for Manny, and I would love for that fight to happen, absolutely," the veteran promoter said.

Only an idiot would buy this fight. This makes as much sense as believing Tom Brady could pitch for the red sox and be successful because he so awesome as quarterback!!! This is a carnival event and nothing more. Both boxing and the MMA would lose credibility.
