He's a clever marketer, but I also think he sees the trend that pro boxing is declining in America and rising in other places

A lot of gyms have been opened by different fighters I believe. Pac opened a gym in Japan and Thailand. And May opening gyms for the youths is generous along with Pac.

Are you claiming that America's talent pool for boxing is still as big now as it was in previous generations?

The American talent pool may not be as big as it once was....but it is bigger than all other nations combined.

No Nation can claim their talent pool is big as it was in previous generations.

Our prospects are YOUNG....not in their 30's or approaching it.

I disagree, it's growing in places like Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan and at least staying steady in places like Russia, Cuba and the UK. They may not have overtaken the USA yet, but if the trend continues they will eventually

You think boxers just appear out of thin air at age 28 in Eastern Europe? There are plenty of talented young Eastern Euros, they just manage their careers differently because there is less of a pro infrastructure in that part of the world right now so staying amateur is a safer career path. Packing up and moving to America to become a pro is a big risk for guys with names most Americans can't even pronounce

There is no trend....plus...those populations are AGING....boxing is a young man's sport.

You can't overtake America with a population if free-fall...lol

America has and always will be at the top of boxing

We not only have the lineage and pedigree...we have YOUTH and PLENTY of it.

Glad to see the legend being on the same side of the barricade with us

Floyd's not moving to Russia, and Floyd's not bothering with Russian citizenship, so what are you talking about?

Floyd is putting his name on a gym, but the photos make literally no mention of the actual folks who will be on the ground, running the gym in Moscow.

PacMan Wildcard is a satellite gym (of Freddie Roach's brand by Manny Pacquiao), and I bet you can't name a single actual person working in that gym right now. Buboy may have some role there, but I doubt even that.
