Either way the fight doesn't make it past 8.

Jacobs has a 2 inch height and 3 inch reach advantage. Wonder if he can stay on the outside and spoil Golovkin coming in since he has been working with Virgil Hunter.

If Jacobs comes out guns blazing going for broke chances are he will get tagged and go down.

Going to be a good fight while it lasts.

          Conventional wisdom states GGG early.

All Golovkin fights recently goes under one scenario. He knocks people down in the first or second round. If they get up, he slows a bit and starts methodical and somewhat monotonous beating down of his opponent. If Jacobs tries only to survive under constant heavy bombing the fight can go to late rounds, but if he fights back than it won`t go past six. Jacobs has about 20-25% chance to upset GGG during first 2 rounds, after that GGG will hunt him down. My bet is TKO in 7th.

GGG wins every round and stops Jacobs in 5 rounds or less.

Jacobs can pull the upset if he's perfectly prepped for the fight or/ and Golovkin makes a mistake. I doubt either of them are going to come in guns blazing in the first round but both guys will try to get each others respect and not back down. I favor Golovkin 52 to 48. If I hadn't been listening to the Golovkin faithful I would be calling it 50-50.

Jacobs may not be able to handle the power and pressure but he may not have to handle it if he can hurt or sting GGG enough to make him cautious. Hindsight is 20/ 20....We'll find out very soon!

GGG in 7 to 9. Danny should have some good moments, especially early, and I expect GGG to start fairly cautiously. But I think Golovkin establishes jab and keeps Jacobs on the back foot starting to control the fight from maybe 3 onwards and then brings the pressure and starts to methodically break Danny down. Contrary to popular belief I don't think Danny is chinny, and nor is GGG a one shot stopper in general so I'm not seeing the 3 round stoppage that some seem to.

Golovkin by stoppage in about 8 rounds.... Jacobs knows the power that Golovkin carries so I expect him to be harder to find than he was in the Pirog fight.

I'm also interested in seeing if Jacobs really can hurt Golovkin, it's not a forgone conclusion..... if his shots don't have the desired effect then 8 rounds might be generous.
