    For all sane purposes, Canelo is a middleweight. I think he's only weighed in below 154 once in the past 3 years and he fights heavier than GGG.
    Alvarez's last fight was literally at 154lbs, so not sure what you're point is; he's making a money fight with super middleweight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, but I've yet to see Alvarez ever commit to middleweight.

    Beyond that, how many middleweight fighters could earnestly weigh in at 155lbs and be ready to fight?
