Rungvisia at the top of his game winning the WBC title was fighting debut challengers then defended again : note he had nothing to prove or a reason to pad his record then its just how a lot of Thai fighters operate there programs due to contractual obligations with sponsors or gyms ; they even go so far as changing their legal names to the sponsors brand.
Floyd Mayweather is fighting McGreggor I dont think the guy has ever fought a professional bout still does not diminish Mayweather unless he losses by some miracle ; or Garcia fighting a Salka...Rungvisai earned his status the hard way : for example his official debut was vs. Akira Yaegahi if you know who Akira is thats remarkable considering he went on to become two weight and lineal champion and just like Rungvisai Akira suffered his setback in the sport taking on a tough road which lead to losses before achieving high regard.
You guys need to stop with basing your argument off boxrec.Last edited by 1hourRun; 03-16-2017, 12:14 AM.Comment

These guys just wants Roman Gonzalez to lose. WBC is already against ihm by wanting ihm to fight back to back against Bigger guys at 115.At the top of his game winning the WBC title he was fighting debut challengers then defended again : note he had nothing to prove or a reason to pad his record then its just how a lot of Thai fighters operate there programs due to contractual obligations with sponsors or gyms ; they even go so far as changing their legal names to the sponsors brand.

By the way if Chocolatito could ever pack on enough real functional muscle, over the next 18 to 24 months, to be a solid 118, then I would love to see him against Rigondeaux at 118. Rigo can definitely make that weight. The same goes for Inoue. Hell, Estrada too. And isn't Yamanaka at 118? There are a ton of great fighters at 115, and Rigo is a natural 118 in my opinion but the money is so much higher at 122 that he fights there. But if you count Rigondeaux at 118, that means you have Inoue, Chocolatito, Estrada, Yamanaka, and Rigondeaux all between 115 and 118 right now.
If Peter Nelson is smart, he will pay a little more than people are used to for fights at 115-118, but secure matchups between all of those guys. I mean 115 is a cool division and all, and Chocolatito-Inoue would be a great fight, but things get super, super interesting when you mix in the 118 guys. If Nelson can have the vision to put that together, not just the 115 matchups, those matchups would actually warrant HBO main events, not to mention they would be the perfect mid-budget, but A+++ matchups for diehards to put as pay-per-view co-main events.Comment

I think Estrada and Cuadras beat Gonzalez in close fights, but you can't blame Gonzalez for the judges' decisions or Gonzalez for having the mentality that he won those fights.
With that said, Cuadras was the champ so I think Gonzalez should give him a rematch if they both win their next fights.
Estrada needs to fight somebody notable at 115 in order to get his name thrown around with Gonzalez, Cuadras, and Inoue. Salas just doesn't cut it.
As to all the trash talk, I wouldn't consider any of the three "famous," but they should keep talking s**t. Seems like that's the only way they draw attention to the lower weights, and more attention = more money for them. Gonzalez is older and more shopworn than Estrada and Cuadras so I don't blame him for wanting good money to fight them, especially since he's approaching 50-0 too.Comment

That's not even funny.. giving him a Barbie doll, wtf!
People need to understand Roman Gonzalez is returning fire after Estrada went in on him on BoxAzteca, talking about he had no balls.
As far as Gonzalez calling Estrada a nobody - I could be wrong but I remember that interview and I think he said that Estrada was fighting 'a Nobody'...so boxingscene should check with the editor on that -- misquoting is very unprofessional.

Then Cuadras is calling him a duck 'Choco-Rajas' meaning 'Chocolatito' is ducker and today he pulls this out : Interview below.
I didn't know the background of the beef b/w Estrada and Chocolatito, but it's a different issue misquoting or misinterpreting what he said..
wish I took some Spanish classes to understand what they said..
