It's the promoter who keeps the gate money, bud. It's not the fighter. It is only right for the other promoter to keep PART of the money in a CO-PROMOTION. Who was gonna promote the fight in NY? Nobody priced themselves out. Stevenson, as always, found a way out of a risky fight. No surprise here.
