MW championship was vacated by Canelo when he took 2 (soon 3) fights w/out defending the title against a top 15 MW.

And dont quote me any Ring regs, or CBZ regs or lineal rules. Blah, blah, blah. If a champ doesnt defend w/in 18 months v. a top 15 w/in the division, its vacated.

GGG has essentially showed that he is the class of the division, but he hasnt done enough yet IMO, to take the championship.

But Saturday is #1 v. #2 at MW. That means the winner is THE CHAMP.

Looking forward to it, MW has been hijacked by Jr. Middleweights for too long.

Not true. You cannot bypass someone who holds the lineal title and is still active in and around that weightclass. Gennady Golovkin should take the Billy Joe Saunders fight next and then bend over for Saul Alvarez.
