remember this fight is in Jacobs hometown. if it's a decision we could easily have a robbery(algieri/provo etc) and the ref could easily stop the fight at any time.

most of the offence ward initiated in that fight was illegal under the rules of boxing. that is head down diving at Kovalev's midsection then tying him up in a greco roman clinch before holding and hitting to kovalev's body and head.


he would've been disqualified in even just a neutral location that actually enforced boxing rules.
