Mcgregor should agree to boxing rules then when bell rings jump on Floyd and choke him.. those MMA instincts will take over.

No, and I said nothing of the sort.

Pre-UFC, there was endless debate back then about which art/style was the best, and which ones worked in a real fight and which ones did not.

The early UFCs were all style-vs-style. So you saw which arts/styles won fights and which styles were useless in a fight.

        That was my point.

As to learning how to fight, the only way to learn to fight is by training in an effective combat art that has live sparring.

Is really Mayweather-McGregor going to happen? A lot of thrash talk but no reply from UFC star after last Mayweather call...
if not bussiness it would be a no sense fight.

I'm thinking more and more this fight is actually happening now.

Casuals/friends at the bar just don't understand and passionately ask me why I'd say McGregor has no chance.

And the real answer (I guess) is that it's a combat sport- so there is always "a chance" for anything... and that alone I guess is going to sell 1,000,000+ PPV's if they do this BS.

They're going to say McGregor's a southpaw, all he has to do is catch Floyd, he'll be able to make it ugly and maul him like Castillo or Maidana, etc. etc. etc.

But then we'll all see what reality looks like.

BELIEVE that I am not paying money for this one. I'll watch it though

Floyd mayweather jr boring style is an insult to boxing. Boxing is a combat sports that you should use your hands for throwing punches not holding and hugging your opponents inside the ring.
