    Chinese Boxers

Given the Chinese government's obsession with producing Olympians, the wide spread poverty and ludicrous population size of China. I will not be surprised to see many Chinese champions in lower divisions in 10 years time.
I predict China vs Thailand and China vs Japan will become classic boxing rivalries.

IDK, their governments have already formed up their 'national' sport SanShou or SanDa (you kickbox and can do takedowns like WWE). They developed the program for military use but then evolved it to a sport. They don't realy have interest in what they call as the Western Boxing, they love their own boxing which is gong fo or traditional Chinese martial arts. They call their styles as boxing even though they involve kicks below the waist and anything that goes with arms and hands rather then only fists (chuen: fist, hung chuen/quen would mean Hung style or hung fist literally).

They are a decent second-tier team in amateur boxing, but I'm not sure that it's still receiving the same kind of funding that it was in the build up to the Beijing Olympics
