Would 15 rounds favor Kovalev or Ward?

Whether you think Ward won or lost there should be no denying it was a close fight. So do you think 15rds would settle the debate in a rematch?

Personally I think Ward vs Kovalev II is the perfect fight for boxing to go back to 15rds. Less chances of a draw and better chances of a definitive winner.

    Thoughts?

Kovalev was getting broke down late. You could see it in his body language. I said it right after the fight. If it was a 15 round fight, Ward had a good chance of stopping him.

I highly doubt it.. If a judge can't make up his mind & get his scoring right in 12 rounds, 15 is just going to make it worse.. I'd only say lesser the rounds, lesser chance for goof-up but you'd never know..

Yea... Kovalev was looking pretty tired and while Ward did look a little tired at one point it seemed as if he caught a second wind.

Its crazy because the 9th rd I actually thought Ward was going to put Kov down with a body blow then came the controversial 10th where most observed Kov making moves.

Personally I could see a 15th rd tko from either guy but my $ is on Andre.

I think even the Kovalev fans would agree. Any logical one at least.

It would have favoured Ward in the fight we saw, but if the bout had been scheduled for 15 rounds in the first place then I'm sure their gameplans would have been different

I do feel like 12-rounders are not always conclusive though. I found myself wishing there were three more rounds in the Thurman vs Garcia fight for example

Yeah man, 12rds gives the judges an option of a 6-6 fight. In 15 theres no split.

Based on the first fight obviously it favors Ward.
