As for Wilder, damn I want him to face better competition all along but it has never materialized. There can not be any more excuses for Wilder in his next fight.. It looks like its Stiverne(mandatory) but post that its gotta be Parker, AJ/Wlad, Ortiz surely no excuses..
It's like Wilder doesn't have any scope to where he wants to take his career. He doesn't have the business savy of Floyd to think big and I wonder if Haymon is the big detriment to having his fighters think conservatively for their career. If he had the savyness of Floyd he would be an unstoppable personality cutting through the bs landing name guys any means necessary. He could have cornered Haye, Wlad, Fury, Ortiz, Parker and maybe Joshua already by now. He just doesn't want all that bad enough. A real champion like Holmes, Tyson, Ali, Bowe would have fought Povetkin anyways. Not back out and instead try to win in the court room. To me it's insulting to boxing fans for an undefeated knockout artist in an American Heavyweight champ to not know his role as the baddest man on the planet. I don't feel any momentum in popularity in Wilder right now. Even though he's a nice down to earth guy unlike Haye I think he may be a lot like Haye in that he's a part time fighter. Also didn't Stiverne have some degenerative muscle disease??

I remember after the fight with everything Eddie Hearn said I heard him say definitively that Parker would be on their sites next. He did say Bellew could land any fight including Wilder on his home turf relatively easy. But it sounded like Parker would be the front runner

Parker is scheduled to fight Hughie Furry.. Stiverne was re-instated as mandatory as Povetkin failed his tests again.. We've go to see what happens to Hughie about his doping issue.. Except for Aj-Wlad rest of the fights are subjected to some sort of pre-requisites..

Well hopefully Haymon has a plan because right now Wilder is falling into the Danny/Adonis level of cherry picker. Sometimes the heavyweight scene right now seems to be entering another golden age and other times it seems like complete garbage. I watched the Washington guy Wider just fought fight Eddie Chambers recently and it was the most pathetic thing I have ever seen.

Tyson Fury makes a lot of sense for both men if you ask me.
