It's weird that people are misinterpreting what he said. I mean... he clearly says he isn't scared of GGG. Eh. Whatever. People call you a jerk if you talk bad about your opponent and think you're a wimp if you're honest about them and yoyr situation in fighting them. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Bravery is not the absence of fear. No fighter can perform at his very best unless he is sufficiently scared, that is why good fighters can often perform down a level when they face lesser opponents.

The fact that he is fighting GGG shows he has bravery. Even Tyson said his knees would be shaking before the start of a fight. Using fear and not letting it overrun you is the key.

Jacobs is smart, he knows what to say when you ask him questions, he's a well-educated guy. I'm rooting for him, I want him to win real bad, but I just don't see it happening.
I'm #TeamJacobs on this, fam...He's approaching this fight like it is the biggest fight of his life while already going through the challenge of fighting cancer. I never see him being hesitant and the big thing weighing on him IMO is that he is fighting in one of the most famous arenas in the world which happens to be close to where he's from.

Just for that, I expect a great fight.
