He's just giving his opinion and is honest about it. He was also straight up about Crawford. He said Crawford would be a big challenge because he can move and was able to hurt his guy Postol.

Nothing I saw in the Thurman-Garcia fight really would convince me that they can be better than 50/50 against Pac.

Can't argue with Roach on much, especially about Garcia. Garcia hasn't shown anything, other than a good chin, that would give Manny a hard time. I wouldn't expect Manny to KO any top guys at his advanced age but he'd pepper Garcia all night.

Thurman, I could see Pac beating, due to his footwork but Pac would need to be careful because Thurman could hurt Manny.

I wouldn't mind either as a next opponent for Pac as either is much better than Jeff Hornacek.

Yes, sure Freddie; We've heard that song and dance all before. It's not that hard. Just get Manny's name signed onto the dotted line so we can get that Thurman/Pacquiao fight. From there, let's see just how long Pac last. If he makes it past the 10th round it will be a miracle
Don't get me wrong. I have a lot of respect for Manny Pacquiao's achievements in the ring but he's no longer in his prime. He's had his season. He can no longer hit, he's a lot slower, has lost a lot of timing on his punches with his swings and misses, plus he's gun shy and is more unwilling to engage.

In addition, he's pushing 40 years of age in just a short matter of months. This is "One time" Keith Thurman's season to shine.

I'm a Pacquaio fan but I'm not so confident that he could beat either of them. I wouldn't be shocked if he did, but I would be impressed.

Manny has a better chance of beating Garcia because of Danny's style, as long as Pac avoids any big counter punches. Hard to say for sure who wins those fights though. This is boxing...no fighter is the same as they were in the past, so every time they step in the ring there's a big question mark. Roach is just spouting bravado and pride. It reminds me of Mayweather saying he can beat Golovkin. If Pac (Freddie Roach) and Mayweather don't want to step in the ring with the current top fighters, they should just shut their mouths. You don't win fights on paper.

Neither guy is an easy fight for this past it version of Pacman. He barely separated himself from Vargas, who's a level below Thurman and Garcia.
