    Is Andrade Over Hyped??

He struggled against C- Level Culcay, and struggled against B- Level Vanes and was even dropped but what's arguably a plain jab, What would Jermall, Lara, Canelo, Hurd, J-Rock, Golovkin, or Jacobs would do to him?? Maybe he even losses to Jermell and Trout

After this weekend there is an argument to be made he is. Or Culcay is underhyped. Or Andrade just had a bad night which is what I'm going to classify it as til I see what happens next time he fights...probably in 15 months the way things have been going.

He is getting hype, but I don't think he is over hyped..

Most people view him as a top 3 or 4 fighter at 154, which is fairly accurate notion

No one that I have seen is claiming he is p4p, that would be overhyping

He looked amazing against Willie Nelson. But then he did what he always does and was inactive for almost a year.

That's what keeps messing with his timing and rhythm, the prolonged periods of not fighting. Boxers have to stay busy too keep sharp.

But they don't seem to get it.

Still need to see the fight, but the inactivity hasn't helped. Will have an answer after I see the fight.

UPDATE: talks of Andrade's "struggles" are vastly overstated.
Culcay's style isn't the smoothest, but Andrade was still Andrade; long hard jab, good straight left, responsible defense, sharp on the counter, better on the inside and to the body than someone his height should be, etc.

Inactivity is the only thing that's holding him back but, on pure talent, he's still arguably the best fighter at 154lbs

                It's obvious he's a top 3 fighter at 154.

Especially when you consider that both Charlo and Canelo have moved up to 160.

As the 154 division currently stands, you have Andrade, Lara, Jermell Charlo, Jarret Hurd and not a whole lot else. Lubin is there, but he's still too raw to be ranked top 10.

Among those fighters You'd have to rank him in the top 3 at least.
