Lemieux cheated. Why are y'all praising him?

Like Floyd without a worry in the world ***ed over Marquez. Like he ***ed over Maidana too. Hmm...Comment

floyd did the same with his iv. thats why its not supposed to be legal to pump yourself up after a weigh in to gain an advantage but they let him do it in the end because hes floyd. theres a reason he didn't do the next day weigh in.Comment

I agree he did Marquez dirty. At least Marquez team looked out for him on the financial side and Floyd had to pay. Stevens got brutally KTFO for the same amount of money agreed to.Comment

I attribute it to one fighter being smart and the other not.
Besides, if Stevens was quality, it wouldn't matter anyway. Make a statement. It's not like Lemieux has the greatest stamina in the first place. Failure to attack the body effectively isn't anyone's fault but Stevens.
The dude couldn't even ensure that the mouthpiece was brought to the ring - that incident alone told me he was getting sparked. He just didn't show up last night, period.Comment

OK... OK...
But, then, why he said: “The real winner wants to go back to Golovkin,” Lemieux told a group of reporters this week.
NEW YORK – The fight David Lemieux wants most is a rematch with Gennady Golovkin. There might not be much public demand outside of Quebec for a Golovkin-Lemieux rematch because Golovkin won their middleweight title fight so convincingly. The champion from Kazakhstan was way ahead on the scorecards (70-62, 70-62, 70-62) when he stopped Lemieux in the eighth round of their October 2015 fight at Madison Square Garden.Comment

Good bolding on my post sir, Respect, but if the NY commission doesn't require a 2nd weigh in then I view their requirements as the main requirements so the IBF whatever belt rules are non-binding as the fight can take place regardless of the IBF whatever belt being involved.
Like I said I don't deny its several bad things, but I personally couldn't call it cheating.
I mean Stevens was cool with it to the point of not asking for more money or even a threat of calling off the fight until some middle ground could be reached with a new agreement for a new 2nd weigh in requirement or anything.
Stevens just accepted the fight with the knowledge that Lemeiux didn't have to make the 2nd weigh in. Stevens accepted the new rules basically. So even if he was of the understanding that there would be a 2nd weigh in upon the knowledge of it not taking place for Lemieux he didn't see it as cheating to call off the fight or even come to new terms as a fix or get a money settlement for being okay with this alleged "cheating".Comment

Stevens isn't one of my favorite fighters...I attribute it to one fighter being smart and the other not.

... and, yes, Stevens should have taken his mouthpiece in his own glove from the locker room... (like the bucket, the sponge and the water, as well)...Comment

How is Lemieux smart by not doing what he agreed to do? How is Stevens dumb for doing what he agreed to do?I attribute it to one fighter being smart and the other not.
