Why would anyone want to fight Porter? His style is pure trash and his dad running his mouth all the time is annoying. I wouldn't fight him unless it were a mandatory... the guys style is that terrible and he brings nothing worthy to the negotiating table.

Yea I don't get this either. They could throw Porter on a PBC card every 2 or 3 months in a featured or co-feature capacity til some big fight pops off. He should be fighting 3-5 times a year easy.

He does got a kinda predictable basic style doe so maybe they are worried about him catching L's, getting hurt & f#cking up bigger fight dates &/or devaluing his name or something too idk.

The bottom line for me is I'm for boxers navigating their own course regardless of what a promoter or manager wants to steer then towards. If a fighter & promoter disagree they should part ways. If a fighter & manager disagree they should part ways or the tie goes to the fighter doing what he wants to do. And for some reason Porter can't or isn't pulling the trigger on manning his own activity level.

Exactly. Especially how broner got a title fight after coming off a loss against him. Porters dad sometimes talk about how frustrated he gets with the inactivity. Porter got a fan friendly style and is a likeable dude. Dont get why they have him on the sidelines

Porter seems to be the only Haymon fighter who is willing to fight more often, so I won't be surprised if this fight would end up getting made.

Both Porter and Berto should fight more often. But in no way should Porter think Spence will be the one he ends up with. Brook is certainly no pushover, no matter what the haters think and say.
