You make a generalization by claiming three latinos ducked Golovkin. Two quick names: Provodnikov lost to Matthysse; Oscar De Lahoya moved up in weight to defeat Adnan Ćatić, aka Felix Strum. Do you seriously believe that if Slavic fighters were on the scene prior to the break-up of the Soviet Union that Felix Trinidad, Salvador Sanchez, Carlos Monzon, Fernando Vargas, Carlos Palomino, Wilfredo Gomez, Mantequia Napoles, Johnny Tapia and the rest....would have a "terrible aversion to fighting them? Come on man don't embarrass yourself.

First Canelo has to get through the proposed fight with Steven Hawking.
That's assuming Hawking agrees to draining down to the catch weight.

Brook, Wade, Lemuix. Not much difference.

Brook would of been better if he had the fight at 155 instead of the FULL 160

Smith actually OWNED a belt unlike Wade

Chavez STOMPED Lee who was ranked higher than ANYONE Lemuix beat. Stevens wasn't even ranked ins ESPN/Ring Magazine Top 10.

        You try to hard.

most guys start young while most eastern euro punchbags turn pro later so moving up in weight is a whole different thing in your late 20's early 30s as opposed to your early 20's. look at broner. you think he really wanted to challenge himself by moving up 4 wight divisions or naturally thats just what happened. not sure why he should get special credit for growing but fanboys will be fanboys

How many Belts at different weight classes does GGG have??? How about Kovalov??? Neither one will EVER move up also. Bet on that.

Cotto started at Light WW (That's 135-140 since you don't know) and made it all the way up to MW 160lb CHAMPION.

                Canelo same thing.

Sergio started out at WW. And would of gave GGG HELL in 09,10. When were they talking about the fight 2013?? When Sergio was 38-39 years old??? Clowns like YOU are the reason why ppl can't STAND GGGTARDS.

According to former two division world champion Sergio Martinez - we are not going to see Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) vs. Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) for a very long time. Golovkin vs. Canelo is being negotiated for the fall, with the target being Mexican Independence Day weekend in September.
