What's up with Judah's crazy low paycheck?

He was 1 fracture away from a 5 digit pay check. 5 DIGITS! In a big ass fight, he should find it an insult to even get payed that low. Of course he knows that now he'll be payed a lot more with big fights coming up in the future though is it even legal for them to have paid him so low? Did Showtime just rip him off or what? They made all that money off the PPV sellings+the sell out crowd, and was able to keep the majority since Judah got paid peanuts. Even Manny got paid 400,000 when he fought Ledwaba wayyyyy back and that was his first fight in America. I just don't understand it.

This subject has been there and done that on the forums, Judah wanted the low pay to get another shot at Spinks.

Judah took the low paycheck because he was convinced there was no way he could lose to Cory Spinks. Taking the low paycheck was a way of getting the fight sooner instead of haggling over the purse.

I suppose it's a bit like when Holy fought Tyson the first time, he took a pay cut hoping he'd get the win and then be able to cash in in later fights (which of course he did).
I still think Judah should of got more cash though

Turned out to be a great move for Judah but had he lost with 100000 he would be screwed in terms of getting a big payday.
