Not trying to take away from Lemieux's KOTY candidate but frankly he had help.

Stevens has atrocious defense, which is why they chose him I suppose.

David still has to prove he can actually beat a skilled fighter with some power.

I think Jacobs destroys him and so does Saunders.
I think Lee also gives David hell.

But, no doubt that KO puts Lemieux back in the mix for a big fight.

don't have the footspeed to get away. very hittable against the ropes(watch liam smith fight). and his power is not carrying to MW. especially not against a granite chinned power puncher like Lemieux who will smother him.

I've had so many arguments over lemeuix and where he stands in the middleweight divisions.
