Anyway, **** thread. Of course he's not among the most underrated in boxing. He's not the most of anything really. Just a bog standard puncher who is slightly above domestic level.

The largely unskilled puncher that loses when he steps up, and to the occasional journeyman/contender, is as common as dirt. They pop up in every division in every era. He is what he is, nothing more.

I don't think you understand a world champ from a journey man..

He's the most powerful puncher in the division.

Well, this thread has nothing to do with Brook, but yes of course he was very ballsy to get in there with him and did land better than Lemieux on him. Of course, I think GGG knew he would walk through Brook's punches and didn't want to eat Lemieux's fists, given that Lemieux is a natural middleweight, but either way, Brook did fine. I don't think anyone's arguing this point.

lemiuex is a stylistic nightmare for Canelo.

would look like Maidana vs Broner. Lemieux would KO Canelo in the later rounds though because he punches much harder than Maidana p4p

If that was Tyrone, we wouldn't hear the end of it.
If it was Tyrone u would kiss his @ss ...

But lol at the thread. Lemieux is very basic and loads up on every shot. If u can box and have some pop u beat him pretty easily. Once hes on the back foot he has no idea what to do. Thr thing with Lemieux is that he has some scary power that makes out for his lack of skills.

Lemieux is strong and a really good puncher. Definitely good enough to hold a top ten position. But at the highest level of the game- defense and ability wins the big fights.
Lemieux showed he can win at the top level against fighters like Stevens, if Stevens is truly top level. However he leaves a lot of questions unanswered. Time will tell.

I do believe he can stay in the top ten for a long while and his style sells but...
