Comments Thread For: Haye Respects Bellew, But Doubts He Can Beat Wilder, Parker

David Haye will next month be called before the British Boxing Board of Control to explain his conduct in the build up to last week's fight with Tony Bellew. The heavyweight continues to insist he "does not regret" any of the extreme threats he made towards his rival, which included warnings he would leave him in hospital and to "enjoy his last days".

It's very likely that without the injury Haye would've won a comfortable unanimous decision, given the unanswered questions the only logical course of action is a rematch. Bellew will know he has no chance against guys like Wilder.

The wise move would be for Tony Bellew to fight Parker, and then if he loses? Rematch David Haye.

He has got TWO guaranteed mega pay days in the bank, due to David Haye stated that he will fight him over a trilogy of fights.

The rematch with David Haye will be even bigger than their first fight! their original match up has shades of the George Groves vs Carl Froch Fall out....

It would be great if by some minor miracle, David Haye is able to return to the ring in 6 months! (**** out a decent opponent, and then chase down Tony Bellew!)....

I could also envision Wladimir Kiltschko, granting David Haye a rematch if he sparks out Anthony Joshua! (David Haye is a very appealing match up for Top heavyweights now!)....

Losing to Parker would badly hurt PPV sales for a Haye rematch.

The wise move would be to wait for the Haye fight. Make a shit load of cash and retire.

You are right, but i believe its a fight Tony Bellew thinks he can win! (But i do wonder whether the promotion for the Haye vs Bellew rematch has already begun, in recent interview's Bellew has been fueling the fire in my opinion! by referring to Haye as a scumbag once again!)....

I have also got a feeling that David Haye is going to make a speedy recovery, sometimes rehabilitation can actually make injured body parts stronger! (But they can cause muscle imbalances that lead to other injuries, interesting the way Haye stated that it was his OTHER Achilles which was his concern going into the fight! not the actual Achilles that was injured!)....

I think Tony Bellew may fight for a world title, he is fighter by nature! (And this may be his downfall! as you have highlighted)...
