Sorry but I don't think so, lemieux has already had 39 pro fights, when you have been fighting that much long u don't change your basics.

If they were to fight again I expect exactly the same outcome of their first fight, Golovkin is gonna break David with that nasty jab.

Why do I favor so much Canelo against Golovkin? because Canelo has been in there with TBE and with "The Best @154 Lara" those dudes are master boxers, and when you can connect those guys even tho your connect pct is low you can counter whoever is in front of you.

Canelo counter some Floyd shots, don't believe me? watch the first 4 rounds of their fight.
Canelo has been the only guy to land a beauty upper and cut Lara's face with a punch.

Say what u want Alvarez is an elite fighter.

Lemiiex us an ok boxer with tremendous power but just that.

To be fair he's right on one point - he was tentative and hesitant when he usually isn't. Brook was much more aggressive and had a much more impressive showing despite being a career welter.

Someone who isn't afraid of G who actually has the skill to execute, beats him.

Golovkin literally beat Lemieux with one arm. Lemieux might want to change his mind if he watches the severe beating he took.
No David you had your shot, did all your prefight posturing and got your ass kicked. End of story.

GGG was tentative too. He worked behind the jab mostly.

But even if he was tentative that doesn't excuse him quitting

Haha i was there. Complete domination. He could not run in because GGG had a stuff jab in his mouth everytime he moved forward and his silly hair cut was flying in the air. GGG fought differently against brook because he did not respect his power at all. He fought claude the way he will fight jacobs.

The payday couldnt have been that good to ASK for another beat down like he got the first time, DL a solid all rounder, but was just too small for GGG, has a better chance of boxing a more competitive fight against Canelo... Hopefully they both engage tonight
