GGG would have no more of a weight advantage of Floyd on FN than other people he's fought such as Victor Ortiz, and Marcos Maidana, who blew up to 165ish on FN.

If GGG weighed in at 154, he likely would come in around 165-168. Canelo would have a weight advantage on FN over GGG regardless of where they fought, as Canelo blows up to 173-175 on FN, while GGG has never been over 170 on FN.

Obviously Floyd is getting pretty desperate for another payday, dude spends money like it's nobody's business...

If Floyd wants to make anywhere close to 100 million or more, without McGregor, he's gonna have to take a risk and fight GGG... IF GGG first beats "Nelo - I do think that's a prerequisite even Floyd is right in wanting, because it would make the fight sell even more.

You gents are tripping. Floyd vs Mcgregor is not a fight but an entertainment event. Conner is not a boxer and Floyd is not a MMA fighter. What question could possibly get answered in their matchup, none and as matter of fact it would create more questions than answers. It's a circus event and I for one will not pay a dime to see it. Although the fight can be hyped to the point where him and Conner can make big cash, big cash for Floyd or Conner is not my concern. However I will pay to see him fight Thurman or the winner of Spence vs Brook ( which will be Spence, IMO ). I think that both of those fighters has a good chance to beat Floyd now and Floyd knows that and that's why he's pursuing the Mcgregor fight. Just like Brook taking the GGG fight. Same BS.

If you want to compete again challenge the Middleweight Champion the way the REAL TBE ATG Sugar Ray Robinson did!
Stop crying and make it happen little fellow.
TBE STOPPED the Middleweight Champ in the 13th round.
That's what the greatests welter & middleweight fighter did.
What did lil Floyd do at welter? Fought former lightweights, junior welters and past their prime men. Had around 13 fights at welter and people think he was the best welter ever? Seriously 13 bouts against past prime quality and the rest career lightweights & super lightweights.

Better watch out against anyone that is really game, those skinny legs weren't very sound when you were running from Manny.
You closed your career against Berto who basically threw the fight for the payday!
Stay retired and give the boxing followers a break from your stealing and boring fights. You were good at 130lbs after the boxing greats at the weights above 130 beat the hell out of you.
Imagine this kid in there with Duran at 135? How about Henry Armstrong at 140? Sugar Ray Robinson at 147? Seriously!

Go away Floyd, take Cotto and Wlad and Manny with you. Some green kid who is va club fighter finally convince Bernard to go home.
        Stay retired no more circus.

        Ray

It was only a matter of time. He can still be a promoter, but you can tell that he loves the spotlight and being the center of attention even when he's supposed to promote the fighters under his banner.

Would a McGregor fight really do big business? I wouldn't buy that fight. Some of the casuals that follow MMA wouldn't buy it either. They know its a mismatch. I don't know that it would necessarily do big business to cover Mayweather's 100 mil guarantee. I'd buy a Mayweather-Thurman or Mayweather-GGG PPV. Hell I'd probably buy Mayweather-Canelo 2 also. McGregor might be an MMA favorite but would it really translate to PPV buys? McGregor sells 1.65 PPV to UFC fans. Will he carry all of those PPV's and will boxing fans actually fork out dough to make it big business? Thats the perception but I'm not sure thats reality. Most boxing fans know its a mismatch and most mma fans also know their guys will likely lose in a boxing match. You don't necessarily pay to see your guy lose. All the pay to see Mayweather lose crowd might not necessarily pay for a fight he will definitely win. +
