Why does everyone want Floyd to fight ggg? If they fight at 154 they are going to turnaround and say ggg was too weight drained. the reason why ggg won't fight canelo even close to that weight but will fight floyd is because canelo could drain him self and balloon back up and ggg won't have the huge weight advantage over him like he would have over floyd Come fight night.

it would be a huge fight,the fight would be huge as it would be seen by most people as a fight that floyd could really lose , coming out of retirement against the bigger man who just demolished the number 1 welterweight and has knocked out everyone at middleweight. in terms of legacy dont pretend it wouldnt add a huge boost to floyd cv if he came out and beat the boogeyman at the age of 40. and as you said, golovkins a bum, easy nights work for floyd, aint that right, he'd barely need to train....

Mayweather is interested in a mega event...not a fight to boxing fans. Fight against the Trip is no more than a big fight and doesn't transcend boxing the way his fight vs Pacquiao did. I am still trying to figure out why any boxing fans would want to see a 41 year old Mayweather fight Trip other than to hopefully see Mayweather lose...
